A Lifetime in the Field
I grew up hunting the piney woods of East Texas, following my father and grandfather through the timber before I was old enough to carry a rifle. Those early mornings in the deer stand — the cold air, the quiet, the anticipation — shaped everything about who I became.
After decades of hunting across Texas, from the dense hardwood bottoms of East Texas to the rugged cedar breaks of the Edwards Plateau, I started Steve Phillips Outdoors to share those experiences with hunters who want more than just a lease — they want a guide who knows the land, knows the game, and is invested in their success.
Every hunt I guide is personal to me. I put in the scouting hours, I know where the big bucks are moving, and I stay in the stand with you until the moment of truth. Your trophy is my trophy.
